LearningLab Network Foundation

In January 2020, the LearningLab Network became a foundation under the aegis of the Foundation for the Université de Lyon, now the Innovation and Transitions Foundation. This network brings together entities that develop LearningLab*, and hosts a community of practitioners whose objective is to share, pool resources, and promote experiences and experiments surrounding innovative learning spaces. Founded in 2014, the network brings together more than 100 members in France and francophone countries (Belgium, Canada, Morocco, etc.) around a public utility mission: promote and contribute to the development of LearningLab in order to offer everyone the opportunity to learn differently.

Its members and supporters are institutions or components of higher and secondary education institutions, companies and training organizations.

The LearningLab Network allows people to share knowledge and exchange experiences and practices regularly through a professional social network.

The meetings between members during the different events, whether on a national or regional scale, provide an opportunity to discover different practices, to confront work and ideas and to contribute to the emergence of innovative projects.

The six founding members of this foundation are the Université de Lyon, the Université Catholique de Lille, Arts et Métiers, Aix-Marseille Université, the Université de Caen-Normandie and the Université Jean Monnet.

Its coordination is provided by Télécom Saint-Étienne (Université Jean Monnet).

*A LearningLab is a space for learning through its spatial layout, the human and material resources available, and the pedagogical methods deployed.
